Templates
For a kanban, a retro or the floor plan of your flat, you do not have to start from zero. nexcanvas ships 33 templates in seven groups, and you can add your own.
A board from a template
When you create a board, you pick a template under Start with. Or you browse under Templates in the top bar, where each one has a preview picture, and create a board from there. After that the board is entirely yours, and you can change everything.

A template of your own
In a board's menu you find Save as template. You give it a name and choose a space or For everybody on this server under For whom. Whoever manages the space may do that, and for the whole server only the operator.
With the tick Only the frame, frames, shapes, texts and lines stay, but notes, drawings, photos, files and links do not. That turns your finished week plan into an empty one for next week.
Your own templates appear on the Templates page under Own templates, for everyone who may read the space.
Managing and passing on
Every template of your own can be Downloaded, Renamed and Removed. At the top of the page, Import template brings a downloaded template onto another server. Boards that were made from a removed template stay as they are.
Cora saysThe shapes from packages travel along in the template. So a template with your own shapes also looks right on a server that does not have the package.
