Arranging · Chapter 14
Frames, scenes and presenting
A frame gathers what belongs together, say all the ideas on the left and the poster on the right. The frames of a board turn into a presentation at the press of a button.
Placing a frame
Choose the Frame (key F) and drag it around whatever should go inside, or just click and a frame of standard size appears. Its name sits above it, “Frame 1” by default. A double click on it renames it.
When you move a frame, it takes everything with it whose centre lies inside it. Frames always lie beneath everything else and do not turn.
The scene list
At the bottom right of the board, Scenes opens the list of all frames. Their order comes from where they lie: rows from top to bottom, and within a row from left to right, the way you read. A click on a scene travels there, and the triangle beside it starts the presentation from that scene.
Presenting
Present in the scene list or in the board's menu shows one frame after another on the whole screen, with everything outside it dimmed.
| Key | does |
|---|---|
| →, ↓, Space, Enter, Page Down | next scene |
| ←, ↑, Backspace, Page Up | previous scene |
| Esc | ends the presentation |
A small bar at the bottom offers the same steps. If you leave full screen, the presentation ends as well.
Cora saysAnyone can present on a public read-only page, too. So you send a link around and the others go through your scenes themselves. More on that in the chapter Sharing and public pages.
You get a PDF with one page per frame through Exporting.
