On your phone
nexcanvas runs in your phone's browser, with no app from a store. When the screen is narrower than 640 pixels, it switches to fingers.
What is different
- Tools at the bottom: All the tools lie in one bar along the bottom edge, easy to reach with your thumb.
- One finger pans: On a phone there is no hand tool, one finger moves the board.
- Two fingers zoom and pan at the same time.
- A long press opens the menu that the right mouse button shows on a computer.
- A double tap types into a thing or puts a text on an empty spot.
- Context bar at the bottom: The bar for the selection sits fixed at the bottom edge, and the handles are bigger.
- Shapes as a sheet: All shapes … opens the shape library as a sheet from the bottom.
- Camera: Take a photo opens the camera directly.
Cora saysWhen it opens, nexcanvas fits the board to the small screen. If you have got lost, Show everything brings you back.
In this version nexcanvas is not yet set up to be installed on the home screen. A bookmark on the home screen does the job anyway.
